12 Days of Baseballmas

A look back at the year that was, with a little holiday spirit.


On the first day of Baseballmas, Bud Selig gave to me: a Michael Young vote for MVP.

On the second day of Baseballmas, Bud Selig gave to me: two late collapses and a Michael Young vote for MVP.

On the third day of Baseballmas, Bud Selig gave to me: three mystery teams, two late collapses, and a Michael Young vote for MVP.

On the fourth day of Baseballmas, Bud Selig gave to me: four Constanza licks, three mystery teams, two late collapses, and a Michael Young vote for MVP.

On the fifth day of Baseballmas, Bud Selig gave to me: FIVE PHILLIES ACES, four Constanza licks, three mystery teams, two late collapses, and a Michael Young vote for MVP.

On the sixth day of Baseballmas, Bud Selig gave to me: six Beard commercials, FIVE PHILLIES ACES, four Constanza licks, three mystery teams, two late collapses, and a Michael Young vote for MVP.

On the seventh day of Baseballmas, Bud Selig gave to me: seven World Series games, six Beard commercials, FIVE PHILLIES ACES, four Constanza licks, three mystery teams, two late collapses, and an a Michael Young vote for MVP.

On the eighth day of Baseballmas, Bud Selig gave to me: eight beers in clubhouse, seven World Series games, six Beard commercials, FIVE PHILLIES ACES, four Constanza licks, three mystery teams, two late collapses, and a Michael Young vote for MVP.

On the ninth day of Baseballmas, Bud Selig gave to me: nine Jeter baskets, eight beers in clubhouse, seven World Series games, six Beard commercials, FIVE PHILLIES ACES, four Constanza licks, three mystery teams, two late collapses, and a Michael Young vote for MVP.

On the tenth day of Baseballmas, Bud Selig gave to me: ten years for Pujols, nine Jeter baskets, eight beers in clubhouse, seven World Series games, six Beard commercials, FIVE PHILLIES ACES, four Constanza licks, three mystery teams, two late collapses, and a Michael Young vote for MVP.

On the eleventh day of Baseballmas, Bud Selig gave to me: eleven stars a writing, ten years for Pujols, nine Jeter baskets, eight beers in clubhouse, seven World Series games, six Beard commercials, FIVE PHILLIES ACES, four Constanza licks, three mystery teams, two late collapses, and a Michael Young vote for MVP.

On the twelfth day of Baseballmas, Bud Selig gave to me: twelve “Let’s Go Pirates!”, eleven stars a writing, ten years for Pujols, nine Jeter baskets, eight beers in clubhouse, seven World Series games, six Beard commercials, FIVE PHILLIES ACES, four Constanza licks, three mystery teams, two late collapses, and a Michael Young vote for MVP.
